Finding a job when you have autism can be difficult, I just can't do any job. Having recently left a job due to autistic burnout just being overwhelmed on a daily basis and it taking everything out of me. So it became clear I need a job that isn't in an office environment, this was causing stress and anxiety on a daily basis that was making me unwell and affecting my mental health.

Anything that involves working with the public is also out as I struggle with communication outside of my special interests and with people I don't know. Any job with a long commute is also out as while I have a licence and can drive I don't drive on motorways or make long journeys on normal roads as I can become overwhelmed and stressed.

This leaves me with remote roles or local roles, local roles in my area of expertise are not that common, and remote roles bring everything I need and have been what I have been applying for with no luck so far.
