I recently suffered from autistic burnout at the time I didn't know that's what it was and it took some research to come to the conclusion that this is what I was experiencing, but when it all matched up it felt right. I had been feeling exhausted for weeks, had increased sensitivity to light and noise and my whole body ached.

In addition to this it pushed me back into severe depression which was not a nice place to be, I had to take time of work because it all became too much. During this time I had plenty of time to reflect, this is where I was honest with myself I had been struggling for years without knowing the cause.

I worked out that a combination of living alone and working full time was creating a lot of stress most of it was coming from work dealing with the constant social expectations, bright lights and noise, I requested to move to a work from home model we agreed to trial it and it made me feel much better as I also moved home to live with my parents and remove another stress.

Unfortunately the remote work trial didn't work out and I am now looking for remote work knowing more about myself and what I am capable of.
