Anxiety is a constant battle for me and can ruin what should be a good time, for me I get anxiety in many forms at varying times the most notable is in public though, any time I am surrounded by people that I don't know while out shopping for example this raises my anxiety there is lots of aspects to this kind of anxiety like the fear of losing my companions, being touched by other people and being funnelled where I don't want to go.

When the anxiety is at it's worse my hands begin to shake this is a sign that things are too much for me at that point and I need to find clear space to regroup and calm things down. I find it also affects my mood and stress levels, stress generally goes up and mood comes down and I become less vocal.

Moving out of the situation doesn't always fix the issue it might calm me slightly but I can still have the feeling of anxiety for hours or days afterwards with similar effects on mood and stress levels as actually being in the situation.

During these times I like to feel comforted and will often seek reassurance in the form of hand holding when available of using fidgets to stim and help process my feelings and get that feeling of safety.
